Ever since its conception, Rainbow Six has been a great game with a
focus on eSport. With tournaments hosted since 2015 with large prize pools to
compete for, it remained a popular game to watch and play. Last year, almost
every tournament was held online, with teams playing in competitions held in
their local region, including the most relevant of them, the Six Invitational
Majors.
Now that every official Six Invitational major has finished, let’s take
a look at some of the best teams and organizations with the most potential,
taking into account their results, earnings, and their global standing during
2020.
8. BDS Esports
The French team has achieved great results this last year on both
European Six Invitational majors. BDS Esport managed to finish in 1st place in
the August 2020 Major and 2nd place in the November 2020 Major. They also
finished in an outstanding 4th place during last year’s Six Invitational.
Almost all of their earnings are from this year as well, them being over
$300,000 from the last five tournaments they played.
7. Cloud 9
Although Cloud9 is an American organization, their Rainbow Six players
are all from South Korea. In every Asia Pacific northern tournament, they got
outstanding results. Out of six regional competitions, they won three and got a
runner-up finish in the other three.
6. Team Liquid
Team Liquid nowadays is one of the most known eSports organization. In
Rainbow Six, their Brazilian players are one of the most promising teams to
come out of Latin America, winning in the Latin American Pro League and Six

finals, but they are looking to make up for it in the next competition. They
finished second in both regional tournaments they entered, losing both of them
to Rogue and BDS Esport.
1. Spacestation Gaming
