Apex Legends is the game that many people love. While there are no
major issues with the game, there are some problems that the gamers’ community
clearly dislikes.
While having a match, lagging that causes slow motion can appear.
That makes players stuck moving at a crawl. In the game, it means a death
sentence as Apex Legends is based on a fast-paced movement.
Slow Motion Bug
Apex Legend's community members admit that this bug is becoming
more frequent. It affects some characters more than others. As it supposes to
be the game that operates really fast, gamers started questioning Apex Legend
and urge to fix the problem.
Some gamers report that the slow-motion movement appears when they
land on the ground, or even when they are being restored by another player.
While some players blame Apex Legends servers to cause this issue,
the exact source of the slow-motion glitch is not yet known.
Cheaters
Players state that in the most match of Apex Legends, there is a
hacker present. They are very easy to spot. If you see a player who never
misses a bullet and moves like a bot, it is most probably a cheater.
Some cheaters use the aimbot. Thanks to this, they can lock their
aim on a target and get rid of other players quickly.
Other cheats allow an unfair player to see the location of all
other gamers on the map. If they use this system plus an aimbot, they reach the
ultimate cheating level.
They appear very often in Ranked games. They kill all the
opponents within a few seconds and then climb up the ranks.
What Causes Slow-motion Glitch?
Two things can cause the slow-motion glitch in the game. First,
the glitch is caused by a server issue. It affects all the players at the same
time. Developers work on the solution.
Second, the glitch affects players after they have been downed.
After being revived, they might move in slow motion. While it is not yet clear
what causes this bug, the presence of the cheaters can affect the quality of
the game.
How to fix Apex
Legends Slow Motion Glitch
There is some workaround for this issue. However, it involves
dying in the game. You can jump off the map or get killed by an enemy. After
that, your teammates can revive you and bring you to the revival spot.
In some cases, that can resolve the slow-motion bug. It is
inconvenient and might not work every time, but so far, that is the only
solution for a slow-motion glitch.
You can also reset the movement speed. You can do it by
respawning. While being already in combat, you can do it by throwing a grenade
at your feet. To speed up the process, remove your body armor before. Let your
character bleed out. After that, your teammate can take you to respawn beacon.
Then, you should be back to normal.
All those solutions might seem a bit awkward, but at the moment,
that is all you have. Hopefully, the game producers are going to resolve this
issue more permanently any time soon.
