League of legends is a strategy game where each players have their very own roles. But there are gamers which don’t even know the roles of their champions. Players must be aware that each champions has their very own role to do in the team.

If you still don’t get this concept, then you must know each roles existing in Summoner’s Rift. Here are the following roles which you should be aware of:

Support

In the game, there are champions which are dedicated in supporting other champions. Support type champions help the team by providing heals, disables, ally buff and debuff the enemy. These are versatile champions which can battle at the same time support their teammates. The main role of the support is to protect and help the team amidst a battle, especially the carry (another role in LOL).

Tank

The said shield of the team, absorbing all the damages. The tank absorbs all the attack and spell of the enemies so the other teammates can inflict damages to the enemies without receiving any damages. Tank are also the great initiator of clashes. Tank are the ones who charges first and single out the priority and vulnerable targets. Tanks also have great crowd control abilities which can be advantageous during clashes. Sometimes, tanks sacrifice its own lives for the betterment of the team, thus is the most undermined role in League of legends.

Assassin/Ganker/Semi-Carry

Gankers or asssassins are the beasts of the early game. Assassins have the highest burst damage in the game, thus vulnerable champions can be killed easily during the early period of the game. Gankers are more effective when they come from the jungle for unpredictability. Given much gold and experience, a ganker can lead to the team to victory with its amazing qualities. During team fights, gankers can pounce on high valued target and killing them off instantly with the great burst damage.

Carry

Champions which are capable to carry the whole team single-handedly. These are champions which contains high quality abilities to help them pick off enemies one by one. But a carry is not yet strong in the early the game, there’s a great need for carry users to farm and be aided by support. But comes late game, a carry champion can dominate the game singlehandedly with its collection of dreadful skill made to instantly kill champions. Carry champion uses should invest on items that will enhance the damage output of the carry to deliver deadly blows to the enemies.

Pusher

Champions made to easily clear minion waves and turrets. Champions which are equipped with AoE abilities which can help them clear minion waves in an instant and eventually destroy the turret. Pusher is a great role as the main objective of the game is to destroy the base of the enemy. As good as the pusher is when it comes to clearing minion waves, these champions can also easily remove the pressure off a lane using their skills. If a pusher gets all the item and the skills, it can lead to an easy win.

 

For a team to be successful in Summoner’s Rift, each roles should be filled. Each role has their own designated action to do, and if they are done successfully, you may be looking at an instant win. So, you should always know your role and learn to adjust.
