Along with the great news of the overwatch having Overwatch
2, now is another reason to play it. The Winter Wonderland is now in its first
week. The seasonal event starts last December 10, 2019, and will last on the 2nd
of January 2020. Players would enjoy new and fresh skins themes for the holiday
season, weekly challenges, and more.
What’s new?
For today’s holiday play, the Blizzard introduces the return
of limited-time mode of the game of Mei’s snowball offensive. It is called the
Snowball Deathmatch and it will be an eight-player game, which is free-for-all
deathmatch. Everyone will be playing as Mei which will be using a snowball gun
that is way similar to the character's snowball offensive. For the player to be
able to win in the game, they needed to get 15 wins in the elimination and be
the first player to earn it. The player can have the ability to catch the
opponent's snowball, and once they successfully got, it will be a gun to their
ammo count.
Another good news and must-have find the new skins which
players can get once they win every match they will win. The players needed to
win nine games each week that they will play Overwatch winter wonderland
season. Every week of the Winter Wonderland, competition has an allocated
cosmetic reward for the winners. Like in the first week of the game, players
can receive an Ugly Sweater soldier 76. For the second week, they will win a
Holly Moira, and for the third week is a Snow Angel Mercy.
The winter wonderland game of the Overwatch also has new
legendary skins. The skins are for Rat King Reaper, Rime Sigma, Jotunn
Doomfist, and Mountain Man McCree. In which these skins are pretty cool to
have. The holiday event has a new patch along with it. And a new feature in the
update includes a “while you wait” in which you can have an option of play to
pick while you are waiting for a match. Another selection that you can do is to
play deathmatch, skirmish, have a practice range and have a custom-made game.
Along with the Holiday season game, there are also new
updates such as updates for hero balance and fixes several bugs. So, check your
hero’s now and enjoy playing the weekly challenges of Overwatch winter
wonderland season.
