As the season 21 competitive play of overwatch had already
begun, a change shocks the whole players. It gives new maps and heroes that
will surely add to the spice in the competitive play. Well, the map pool is not
that new as it was already established from the last season. However, in
today’s season, there will be a limit in the number of maps that can be played. Also, the Hero Pools today are a total game-changer
as there will be a limit of playable characters in every week’s season game.
In the season 21 Hero Pools competitive play, during each
week, there will be a ban of heroes in the game. The heroes will not be able
for more than two consecutive weeks, and it will be the in-game prompt that
will announce which character will not be playable. But, if the hero had a
balance update during the week of the patch, the said hero can be played during
or in the ranked mode. The ban of the heroes only affects the competitive play.
So, the Arcade and quick play don’t have any limitations, and relatively all
the heroes are available.
For every player out there, expect every week when you get
to log in to your overwatch account, there will be a little different from what
you have already played or get to use to. And that will not only stop there,
like what the Principal Game designer Scott Mercer said there would be much
more to expect. But one thing is for sure. This hero limiting is a simple way
to get to know more or improve more the game and the characters also.
The First
Hero Banned
So, by the hero limiting in the season 21 overwatch game.
The Blizzards empire and the overwatch league will also be using the Hero
Pools. And the analysts will be the ones who will decide or look for the heroes
that will be banned for the week. This picking will not be as to random people
to choose, but instead, it will be based on the data that the heroes are being
played or used. Generally, those heroes that are performed for more than 10
percent of the game time. And the first heroes that are being banned are Hanzo,
Baptiste, Mei, and Orisa.
As these four heroes being banned for a couple of weeks, inevitably,
they will be more excited as to how to survive during the fight with the
absence of these heroes. For this season 21, there will also be 21 maps that
can be played for its entire competitive play. Basically, from Assault, Hybrid,
control, and escort, there will be three of each.
So, how do you find this hero banned in competitive play?
Can you survive without your favorite hero? Well, surely you do, so what rank
are you aiming to have for this season? Play
and hope that you get to achieve it this season. With this ban or limiting of
heroes truly proves that Overwatch Hero Pools Season 21 is a total game-changer.
