What is a jungler, though? Junglers pose a unique role in the world of LOL. Commonly found on the Summoner’s Rift map, a jungler leaves the lane gameplay to lane players. Instead, they enter the location between lanes better known as the jungle. In the jungle, players defeat natural monsters, gain gold, gather buffs, and help their team by flanking the opposing team. A powerful jungler can help their team win without being caught up in too much PVP mess.
Most teams nowadays have at least one of these lone wolf players, and the NA’s teams are no exception. However, the question stands, who is the best NA jungler of all time?
Robert ‘Blaber’ Huang
Robert Huang, better known as Blaber, can be put into the running and reasonably win the title of Best NA Jungler of All Time.
The 22-year-old North American native has had an electrifying career as a jungler and doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In 2017 Blaber was drafted by the team Cloud9 in Santa Monica, California, known as blaberfish2 at the time of signing. Cloud9 has been ranked as one of the teams in NA LCS expected to win each week. He has been a mainstay on the team ever since.
Furthermore, he was awarded the individual award of NA Outstand Rookie of the 2018 Summer season. In the years since, he’s been named the NA Most Valuable player for 2021 Spring and 2020 Summer. Also, his team has won NA first All-Pro Team for Spring 2021, Summer 2020, Spring 2020. Finally, the team was also awarded NA second All-Pro Team for Summer 2021.
Besides just winning awards, Blaber also holds the record for highest win percentage for any NA LCS player with more than one game. This record is an incredible feat for the NA LCS has a roster of 10 teams, each team holding between six and seven players each. As a result, Blaber’s win percentage is higher than nearly seventy players across the league.
The stats for Blaber speak for themselves. He has played 296 games in the NA and has won 195 and lost 101. Thus, making his overall win rate percentage 65.9%. Blaber’s first champion of choice is Lee Sin. He has played 30 games with Lee Sin and has a win rate percentage of 70% with that champion. His second most played champion is Gragas, playing a total of 22 games with that champion with a win rate percentage of 81.8%. Finally, Blaber’s third most played champion is Kindred, choosing Kindred 21 times with a win rate of 68.4%.
With a long list of accolades under his belt, Blaber is well on his way to being the best NA jungler of all time, if not already. His persistent and incredible work partnered with the result he’s achieved only propel him further than anyone jungler currently in the NA LCS.
