Overwatch 2 Updates

Share:

Blizzard has recently announced the coming of Overwatch II, and this is the sequel to its renowned team shooter Overwatch.

The first Overwatch game was released three years ago, and while the developer has kept on expanding the play with new maps, game modes as well as heroes, it has gotten a considerable update like this in the duration of the game.

By adding a store mode, the Overwatch 2 will look to develop on the lore, which the developer has slowly been creating for the Overwatch universe in the past couple of decades with in-game content as well as intricate cinematic shorts.

The announcement of Overwatch II movie picks after the array of short movies which Blizzard has released, seeing Overwatch characters facing off next to Null Sector- an assaulting robot force. Not like the first game that was mostly a PvP multiplayer experience, Overwatch II looks to be focusing on cooperative PvE content, which will see gamers challenge against a multitude of computer opponents in both story levels as well as more replayable “character missions.” Gamers can also level up their character and customize their capabilities.

Still, there are maps and PvP modes, with developers assuring a new core Push scheme and new maps and new heroes that will be added along with the current thirty-one heroes or characters who are already coming back. The game will also feature 6 vs. 6 team fight, the same as the previous game.

Also, there is a new style of visual effect, with the heroes and current maps getting new styles for Overwatch II. Two new heroes include Echo, a powerful robot which is featured in the Blizzcon short in the previous year, as well as Sojourn. At this point, there is no information concerning this new hero.

Blizzard is taking unusual way to the sequel, assuring a shared multiplayer setting, where existing players of this game can play against players of Overwatch II in PvP multiplayer and will also have access to the new Overwatch maps and heroes. The developer of this game also assured the player that it plans to help all of the gamer’s current unlocked cosmetics from the original game.

As of now, there is no info yet as to when gamers must look forward to Overwatch II to be accessed. The developer just announced to the public that the sequel is in progress and which more info will be posted soon.
